My name is Shannon McDonagh

Moose Island Foods grew from a deep love of good food and a lifelong passion for preserving the best of every season. What began as small‑batch preserves and handcrafted mixes naturally evolved into a brand dedicated to quality, authenticity, and the joy of putting food by.

Over the years, simple, honest, handcrafted foods became the foundation of everything we make — each batch created with care, intention, and respect for traditional methods. Moose Island Foods reflects that journey: shaped by hard work, inspired by the land we call home, and driven by the belief that good food should be real, comforting, and made with pride.

Every product carries the heart of a maker who loves preserving what matters most — flavour, simplicity, and the satisfaction of sharing something truly good.
